This is the autobiography of ‘Bee’ Beamont, a pilot whose flying career spanned 40 years, during which he flew over 170 types of aircraft. During the war he piloted Hurricanes, Typhoons and Tempests both as a test pilot and on operations. After the war he was involved in the flight development of the Canberra, P1, Lightning, TSR2 and the Tornado and was the chief test pilot for the English Electric Company.
