Description
THE early Austro-Hungarian Lohner B Type biplanes with their distinctive sweptback wings made many successful international competition and record-breaking flights pre-war as well as serving with the Spanish Army in 1912 for pioneering bombing sorties. At least seven major versions were developed and the type served with a large number of Fliks operating on the Italian Front during the early years of WWI. This excellent brand-new 40 page DATAFILE is written by Paolo Varialle and his comprehensive and highly researched account is bolstered by over 90 rare images of the various Pfeilflieger marques. When you factor in six pages of B.II and B.VII 1:72 and 1:48 scale drawings; six brand new colour profiles by Ronny Bar and Roberto Zanella’s striking cover art, you have the most comprehensive visual coverage of the Dual Monarchy’s ‘Arrow Flyers’ yet published.
