Description
The book covers the development and operational history of Junkers’ pioneering first three-engine aircraft families –
• Junkers G 24 – An enlarged and improved three-engine evolution of the single-engine Junkers F 13, initially built in Sweden to circumvent post-WWI German restrictions.
• Junkers K 30 – The military/bomber variant of the G 24, largely produced for export (including to Russia).
• Junkers G 31 – A larger, heavy-duty three-engine development used by Deutsche Lufthansa and famously deployed as a cargo/supply workhorse in the New Guinea goldfields.
