Description
This first monograph of the series “Airplanes with History” tells the story of the Hawker Hunter F.Mk.71 No. 702 of the Chilean Air Force. In twenty-four pages details of its construction and service in the Belgian Air Force (FAB) to its service in the Chilean Air Force (FACh) are published. This is the only surviving Hunter F.Mk.71 of Belgian origin from the fleet of fifty-four aircraft operated by the FACh and preserved as a monument in the FACh Supply Wing at El Bosque Air Base. The text is reinforced with twenty photographs and twenty illustrations with the different paint schemes the aircraft used in the FAB and the FACh.
