Description
This is the ninth edition of USA Military Out of Service. The main aim is to detail out of service military aircraft which can be found on airfields, ranges, preserved in towns and museums, and junked in scrapyards. The book also includes details of warbirds where a base is known. Unmanned aircraft and rockets are not included, even if they do wear serials. The author has included some c/ns, but generally only when they have been read from the aircraft concerned. As usual, the author has not covered AMARG as there are already excellent publications available that deal with this, notably the series by Martyn Swann.
GPS co-ordinates are given where known. They may be for the actual location of the aircraft or hangar, the airfield entrance, or in some cases where to see the aircraft from. Illustrated with six colour photos.
