Description
The book lists a complete roster of the participants and how they fared during the period 1943-1946, operating out of England, France and Germany. Many of these young fighter pilots were teenagers or early twenties, and many of them never made it home. General Patton, in one of his commendation letters, said that, without the 405th, he would not have been successful in the battle of the Bulge. Illustrated throughout.
