Description
This is one of a limited edition (100 copies) – numbered and signed by the author. It is the first book, and maybe will be the only book, which deals solely about this period of time of Oflag XXI-B.
Stalag Luft 3 was a Luftwaffe guarded prisoner of war camp for captured Allied airmen. At the end of 1942 Stalag Luft 3 had to be expanded and about 200 airmen were sent to Oflag XXI-B “Schubin” and new taken air force prisoners were taken straight to Oflag XXI-B “Schubin” after interrogation at Dulag Luft. Oflag XXI-B was in use for airmen from September 1942 to April 1943. In April 1943 all airmen were transferred (back) to Stalag Luft 3.
