When in 1945 the Second World War ended, the national aeronautics had just undergone more than four years of isolation under constraint of the occupier and had fallen enormously behind the capacities considerably developed during the period by the main belligerents. : England, Germany, United States, Russia… Fifteen years of effort, interspersed with multiple failures, nevertheless made it possible to overcome this handicap often considered irretrievable and to open the way to the development of an aviation having regained its worldwide influence. .
