The Panavia Tornado in service with the Italian Air Force. The text is bilingual Italian-English and the book extensively illustrated with photos and full colour profiles. The book traces the history and heraldry of the Squadrons that have used the aircraft. The evolution of the paint schemes, national and unit insignia. This has been done for the three basic versions of the aircraft: the IDS, the ECR and the ADV. A large section, which does not claim to be exhaustive, has also been dedicated to the special colours that have adorned the aircraft on various occasions. Model makers will find the images of details and particulars that make up this section particularly useful. Finally, in the appendix we find a roundup of models made in different scales – starting from 1/144 to reach 1/32.
