This Czech language books details the use of the Supermarine Spitfire LF Mk.IXe fighters by the Czechoslovak Air Force In the post-war years, these British aircraft formed the combat core of the Czechoslovak Air Force, piloted at first by those who fought with them in the ranks of the Royal Air Force, but also contributed to the start of the first generation of young fighters, trained at home. Against the background of the operation of these aircraft, the books reflects not only the building of the Air Force in peacetime, but also the participation of Spitfires in air events, a brief history of individual machines or export deliveries to the state of Israel, and from there to Myanmar (Burma), accompanied by more than 600 photographs.
