This book provides a portrait of fifteen pilots and is illustrated with many period photographs and colour profiles of their planes, the Soviet “Yak” fighters. Becoming operational in 1943 the squadron were a formidable military unit battling alongside the Soviets on the Eastern Front.  Text and captions are in French.
