Description
In the early summer of 1917 two Oeffag-built Albatros D.III fighters were sent to Albania mainly for defence and escort duties. For almost a year they faced up to the outnumbered Italian aircraft as the only black-crossed one-seaters on the lower priority Albanian front. This mini monograph provides the full history of these fighter planes on 16 richly illustrated pages.
