Canadian author Tom Walsh puts out his second book, another wonderful effort covering Americans in Allied service in the Second World War. Capsule histories cover twenty Americans who enlisted in the RCAF in World War II, in some cases long before the United States joined the conflict. Covering mostly personnel who flew in the Eastern Theatre of Operations (ETO), coverage is also given to the China Burma India Theatre of Operations (CBI), Malta and the North African Theatre of Operations as well as the Pacific Theatre of Operations (PTO). Each chapter covers the flier’s RCAF service period, and is accompanied by a relevant black & white photograph.
